Copying art can be a help in learning to draw, but it is nothing more, but a PRACTISE! Why the hell to post it? The only comment a "Traced art" deserves is "you're good with copying" and nothing else.
It pisses me off when I see copies of known artit's or other deviant's works posted under someone else's name, claiming it as own work, and recieving praising comments on their designing and artistic skills...but it is not their fucking work, all the feedback and praises should go to the</em> original artist who worked a lot with designing, composing the image, and expressing their thoughts, personality and feelings with it. </em> Those people who simply ripped off their works, altered it or digitally painted over on it doesn't deserves a piece of shit of feedback.
A copy is just a copy, it doesn't expressing anything, and doesn't worths a crap as artwork.

I has a question concerning this topic...
I havoe poor handwriting... and i totally suck at drawing... (don't ever practise) however i sometimes trace photo's from models or whatever to use their poses and then mod the results to make them look different.... My end result is most of the time not directly recogniable from the base image... Would this still be okay or is that copying/tracing to?
Just curious XD
