Think I need the top of my skull opened so I can scratch my brain. *Scratches head anyway.* I love how you able to make the layers with the acrylic. I suck with anything that isn't water color. I still say you have to be one of the most amazing artists out there.

I have a question. Is it better to paint the first layer and then add the shading or wait until it dries?

It's worthy to wait if you don't want the two colours getting mixed up, paint shades onto undried layer if you want blending the edges of the shadows and lighted parts, acrylics drying fast, so it won't take much waiting.

It looks nice for first try :) I have a suggestion to fix the edges of the paper all around with waterproof tape before painting, and your picture won't get wavy after drying :)
